SOHO Global Health - Socializing the Reading Culture to the Community
Official Announcement of the Reading Corner at the Himmata Foundation Layover House

JAKARTA, ( 20 / 05 ) – As part of SOHO Global Health Commitment to socialize the reading culture to the community, through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, SOHO Global Health conducts a social service activity, in cooperation with the Himmata foundation. This foundation is a foundation which is engaged in the field of education and layover houses for street children.

The reading corner is filled with books collected from all employees of SOHO Global Health throughout Indonesia. Besides, SOHO Global Health also conducts a story telling activity in cooperation with the Eduguide Indonesia magazine, with Happy Science as the theme. This activity is conducted to invite street children between the ages of 7 to 17 years, to love knowledge more and improve their interest to read. This story telling method was chosen to increase their interest while the message to deliver can be pleasantly absorbed.

“SOHO Global Health is committed to consistently conduct CSR activities and to integrate all stakeholders particularly in commemorating the National Resurgence Day today,” said Herlina Permatasari, Executive Vice President – Human Capital Development & Public Affair – SOHO Global Health, “so that this momentum will be more meaningful for all of us.”

For this time activity, SOHO Global Health synergizes with other stakeholders i.e. BPP PERHUMAS (Indonesian Association of Community Public Relations), Eduguide, as well as OTP (On That Point) Institute. ( Yondi )
