Jakarta (13th December 2022) – The Supply & Operations Business Unit has just held 2022 Town Hall Meeting. Taking "REFRESH: Reconnect for Realignment of SOHO People" as theme, this event is quite special since it’s the first employee gathering to be held offline since the COVID-19 pandemic. This event was divided into 2 big agendas: Fun Trekking and Town Hall Meeting, in Sentul, 2nd December 2022.
Considering this event was the first moment of meeting face-to-face after the pandemic, Mr. Rogelio Paulino Jr Castillo La'O (President Director of SGH) said that this activity was an opportunity to rebuild relationships and align priorities between S&O employees. “2023 will be more challenging for everyone. It is important for us to be more productive, carry out cost improvements, and maintain the quality of our products," he said. The same message was conveyed by Mrs. Yuliana Tjhai (Senior EVP LCIACS & HR SGH), "We must increase our sense of togetherness and cooperation in facing the challenges that will come." These messages became the provision for S&O team to take part in the Town Hall Meeting.
Participants departed from PT SOHO Industri Pharmasi in the morning and gathered at Jungleland for briefing before continuing to trekking location. The first session began with trekking activities which were enthusiastically enjoyed by the participants. S&O employees from various departments were divided into 38 teams to compete for the titles of Best Team. Even though it was quite tiring, participants seemed excited to walk along the trekking track, which was surrounded by trees, paddy fields, river, hills, and finished with enjoying the views of Leuwi Asih Waterfall with group members and other S&O colleagues.
The second half of the event was opened by listening to talkshow session with Mr. Tan Eng Liang and Mrs. Mary as owners of SOHO Global Health. Mr. Tan and Mrs. Mary really support this "reconnect" event so that the communication can run more effectively in order to move forward together. S&O colleagues also listened to messages from Mrs. Kalista Utama (VP Manufacturing) and Mr. Raphael Aswin Susilowidodo (VP R&D, RPV and MA) who both appreciated the team's performance this year and reminded the team to continue improving, to be more productive, and to maintain quality of our products.
The event then continued with the Awarding Ceremony for interna competitions that held during 2022: Safety Awareness Competition (SOSA), Imboost Force Competition (CI), and Best Employee for Grades 1-4, 5-7, and 8-9. This activity is an appreciation event from S&O leaders for employees with excellent performance during 2022. Here are the winners of this year's competition:

To add to the excitement and joy, this event was closed by dancing accompanied by dangdut songs and taking photo with SGH formation. Through this event, we hoped that the connections between S&O employees which have been impacted due to the pandemic situation can be tighter, transform into more solid team and more enthusiastic in facing tougher challenges in the future. Hopefully this event can motivate employees to improve our cooperation in achieving future targets.

In a rapidly-changing environment, the key to our success has been our ability to balance continuity with change. It has required discipline and decisive actions to build sustainable value for the long term.
